An MGF is used in water and wastewater treatment to remove suspended solids, dust and dirt present in the water. The MGF is a depth filter that makes use of coarse and fine media to create pore dimensions that retain large and small suspended particles. These filters work at high velocities and have high dirt holding capacity. These MGFs are used for pre-treatment in ion exchangers (deionizer and softener) and membrane filtration systems.
Dual media filter (DMF) for the removal of suspended solids and turbidity in water and wastewater. The filter uses layers of sand and anthracite or activated carbon as the media in a single container. DMFs are ideal to filter water with very fine suspended matter like mud, dust particles and biological growth at a high rate of flow. A DMF performs better than the single filtration process.
Pressure sand filter – PSF. These filters have multiple layers of sand of varied size and specific gravity. The PSF is designed to remove turbidity and suspended particles present in the feed water with minimum pressure drop. PSFs operate at lower velocities compared to MGFs.
Activated carbon filters - ACF, for varied applications to meet specific process requirements. The activated carbon filter (ACF) works on the principle of adsorption. The medium adsorbs or reacts with pollutant molecules as the water is filtered through. ACFs are designed to remove free chlorine, organic matter, odour and colour present in raw water and wastewater. The filter consists of various grades of carbon granules supported by gravel, pebble and sand. Grades of carbon are used according to the type of treatment required. The activated carbon has the optimum iodine value for effective removal of contaminants. Our ACFs are used as second stage filtration post MGF/PSF in effluent, sewage, water treatment plants, ETP, STP, WTP.

Reverse osmosis is water purification process in which pre-treated & filtered water is connected to the high-pressure pump where pressure is developed and fed to the RO membranes. Reverse Osmosis membranes work on the Cross-flow Filtration method where the salts get rejected partially and deliver pure water. Purified water is referred to as product and waste water is referred to as concentrate or reject. The percent of water delivered as product is called the recovery. The ratio of recovery& output parameters depend upon the feed water quality, type of membrane, temperature and total RO unit design considerations.
Electrodeionization (EDI) is used after reverse osmosis for polishing of demineralized water to obtain low levels of conductivity and silica. The EDI uses ion exchange membranes, ion exchange resins and electricity to produce high-quality water with no regeneration downtime. EDI is an alternative to a conventional mixed bed polisher.
Typical applications for EDI are boiler feedwater at heat and power plants, process water within the electronic industry, the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals, dye industries and laboratories .
Ultrafiltration, often abbreviated as UF, is a hollow-fibre membrane-based separation process used in water treatment. It's a type of filtration that uses a semi-permeable membrane with very fine pores to separate water from suspended solids, colloids, and high molecular weight substances.
Ultra filtration is a unique pressure-driven physical separation process in which the water is passed through porous (partially permeable) membranes with pore sizes in the range of 0.1 to 0.01 micron.These membranes are in the form of long hollow fibers. The result is high pure water free from physical and biological contaminations.

In the chamber, a surface aerator or diffuser aerator infuse air and oxygen to the waste and encourages good bacteria to digest the organic matter, breaking it down and purifying it.As it leaves the final chamber known as the settling chamber, the effluent is typically 95% clean and ready for discharge into local watercourses, ditches or land drainage systems, subject to consent by the Environment Agency.
